PROJECT OVERVIEW
Edgewood Avenue is a popular destination with many restaurants, bars, and shops. It is also a critical connection between the Atlanta BeltLine and Downtown Atlanta. This project aims to create a safer, more multimodal street on Edgewood between Jackson Street and Boulevard. Proposed enhancements include:
- Resurfacing of the roadway
- A new mid-block crosswalk
- Westbound and eastbound protected bike lanes
- On-street parking on the eastside of the street to support curbside operations and further protect cyclists from vehicular traffic
CAP/ADID is partnering with the City of Atlanta to serve as the project implementation manger.
