Placemaking

Central Atlanta Progress activates and enlivens public spaces through placemaking events and programs. Ranging from holiday lights to lunchtime concerts and pop-up performances, CAP supports and develops engaging programming to highlight Downtown's unique character and to add joy and interest to our public spaces. 

Many of our placemaking activities focus on the Broad Street Boardwalk and Woodruff Park, but CAP is actively expanding the placemaking program. Past and current examples of placemaking programming include free yoga classes, PRISM Winter Lights exhibition, the Woodruff Park game cart, the Peachtree Street Shared Street project, and more.
