South Downtown Transportation Plan

CAP/ADID, in partnership with major developers and special events venues in South Downtown, developed a South Downtown Transportation Plan to guide infrastructure investment in the neighborhood as it undergoes transformation. For South Downtown to thrive, it must be supported by a robust multimodal transportation network where cycling, walking, and transit are convenient and comfortable. As streets form the largest cohort of public spaces in the neighborhood, roadway investments are also an opportunity to create a more inviting and engaging public realm. Through significant stakeholder engagement and public surveying, the South Downtown Transportation Plan built on prior planning work to develop a vision for improved mobility in the neighborhood.
