#06 Jackson St Bike Lane

Add a bike lane on Jackson Street between Irwin Street and Auburn Avenue connecting the existing bike lanes immediately north and south on Jackson Street.

Result: The Jackson St bike lane was once continuous between Highland Ave and Edgewood Ave, though at some point in time, the striping for the bike lane between Irwin St and Auburn Ave deteriorated and the bike lane disappeared. This project aims to restripe the bike lane, remove the center turn lane through the center of the block, and reduce the individual lane widths as a safety measure encouraging slower-moving travel.
