Little ones and families will celebrate all month long with crash courses in Women’s History and activities inspired by the achievements and careers of women who are pioneers in their fields. Children are also invited to welcome in Spring with Nature Yoga and special Spring-time jam sessions.

CMA On Stage

“Lola Out Loud: Inspired by the Childhood of Activist Dolores Huerta” by Jennifer Torres + Nature Yoga + “Out of School and Into Nature” by Suzanne Shade + Women’s History Crash Course

Monday – Friday: 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Saturday – Sunday: 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Science Bar

Little scientists will learn about Margaret Collins, “The Termite Lady!”, an entomologist who studied termites and other bugs. Guests get to discover how insects hear and classify insects just like Margaret.

Art Studio
Aspiring architects are welcomed to follow in the footsteps of Dame Zaha Hadid, “The Queen of the Curve” and create their very own curved buildings.

Jane’s Innovation Station

Every bird is different – just like people! Little ones will learn about what different birds like while they design their own bird house, bird feeder, bird bath or bird nest and hear the story of Phoebe Snetsinger, one of the most impactful ornithologists.
