You are invited to attend an educational webinar on Thursday, July 30 at 6:30 p.m. to learn more about the recently announced Resurgence Grant Fund  and the recently recapitalized creATL Relief Fund and Strength in Beauty Fund. Through the Resurgence Grant Fund, qualifying city of Atlanta businesses have the opportunity to apply for up to $40,000 to help them cover pandemic-related costs such as complying with requirements necessary for businesses to operate safely plus access to $10,000 of no-cost technical assistance services. The creATL and Strength in Beauty funds support creative and cosmetology industry workers by offering $1,000 grants to alleviate hardships due to the loss of business as a result of the pandemic.
 
The Resurgence Grant Fund was created through the Atlanta City Council’s $22 million allocation of federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) dollars to support small businesses and independent professionals impacted by the pandemic. A portion of these funds also recapitalized the creATL and Strength in Beauty funds.
 
The application window for all three funds will be from August 10 - 31. Another webinar on the Resurgence Grant Fund, creATL Relief Fund and Strength in Beauty Fund will be held August 4 at 6 p.m.  Register online at www.investatlanta.com.
