Urban Poets presents Breaking the Silence Against Domestic Violence

In collaboration with BSTADV organization & The Writer Teikoa ™, this monthly event will bring awareness to Domestic Violence to help raise funds for the "Milli's Light Scholarship".

* All donations through Eventbrite will go towards the scholarship fundraiser *

Urban Poets is a charity event curated to help those displaced around Atlanta.

During our event, we also collect donation like toiletries, blankets, and cloths. If you do not want to donate through Eventbrite please bring one of the following items.

Soap
Women's hygiene products
Toothbrush/Toothpaste
Blanket
Wash Cloth/ Towel
Wipes

This is POETRY night. Signer-songwriter, and some small ensemble live music performances allowed. This is not a showcase event. Hip Hop/Rap artists are encouraged to be prepared to perform acapella.

Tickets are not required to attend the event, but they are recommended for guaranteed seating. Try arriving early to be seated at an open or free table.
