Georgia State University's inaugural Trumpet & Trombone Day brings world-renowned guest artists, including International Trumpet Virtuoso, Rex Richardson, and an international trombone soloist, TBA, to share the latest techniques in brass pedagogy and musicianship. Trumpet & Trombone Day's lineup includes group warm-ups, Trombone and Trumpet ensemble rehearsals, time with our exhibitors, guest artist master classes & recitals, a final concert performance and more! Our guest artists will provide informative and educational feedback in our master class session and perform in a featured artist recital. Participants will rehearse in both a Trombone or Trumpet ensemble and a combined ensemble. The day concludes with a final concert performance from the instrumental ensembles and combined ensemble with the guest artists. Georgia State welcomes participants of all ages and abilities!
