In Observance of Women’s History Month, and in the spirit of American Girls, Addy Walker, a brave Civil War-era Black girl determined to be gain her freedom; and Melody, an optimistic Black girl growing up in the 1960s who wants to lift her voice with others and stand up for what's right, the Auburn Avenue Research Library will host “Celebration of American Girls: Youth Craft and Tea Party with a Purpose”. Children and their dolls, ages 8 and up, are invited to the American Girl Tea Party. Participants may bring any type of doll to the event. There is a limit of 30 children. Reservations Required. This event is free and open to the public at 101 Auburn Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30303.
