Details
Join us for Georgia Aquarium’s 21+ science lecture series, Science on Tap, on Wednesday, May 8th. We’re offering a reception with light hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine and a fascinating presentation beginning at 5:30pm. Following the talk, there will be time for a Q&A session.
This month’s Science on Tap will dive into cutting-edge innovations that highlight how the oceans can be our biggest partner in tackling climate change. You’ll learn about state-of-the-art wave energy technology that uses new techniques to maximize renewable energy offered by the ocean, supporting the greenhouse gas emissions reductions needed to limit global warming. We’ll talk about how innovations developed right here in Atlanta are making an impact, as well as broad opportunities for us all to be part of the solutions we need.
Come mingle, enjoy some libations, and learn! Space is limited, so please reserve your tickets now to secure your entrance into this exclusive lecture series held in our beautiful Oceans Ballroom.
