Cemeteries are a vital part of Atlanta's landscape, and public interest in graveyard tourism is growing in America. A guided tour is one of the most impactful ways to share your site's history, fund conservation efforts, and grow your membership. If you want to learn how to research, plan, and lead a tour at your cemetery, this workshop is for you. The aim of this workshop is to provide attendees with the tools necessary to craft an original script for Phoenix Flies 2025. The workshop will walk participants through the steps of creating a tour: from selecting which stories to tell to how to use primary sources to craft your narrative as well as site safety and logistics.
