PARK(ing) Day is an annual global event where citizens temporarily transform and activate parking spaces to call attention to the need for more urban public space. Join CAP, Newport US RE, and Atlanta City Studio for Park(ing) Day in South Downtown on Friday, September 20. Parking spaces on Broad Street SW, between MLK Jr Dr SW and Mitchell St SW, will be transformed into a pop-up café seating area where you can play games, meet fellow community members, and enjoy lunch from The Mad Greek food truck. During the event, explore Atlanta City Studio’s new Downtown outpost and check out renderings of Newport’s vision for the future of South Downtown.
