Children’s Museum of Atlanta is a proud partner of the Mayor’s Summer Reading Club, which promotes continued language development and reading skill-building over summer vacation. According to the Brookings Institution, “students’ achievement scores [can decline] over summer vacation by one month’s worth of school-year learning.” That’s a lot! Children’s Museum of Atlanta is committed to providing a hands-on, education-rich (and fun!) summertime learning experience for all children and their caregivers, and are excited to promote the Mayor’s Summer Reading Club through reading-focused programming in our lab and studio spaces on Saturday, June 22nd and Sunday, June 23rd!  Make reading glasses in the Art Studio, get your hands on cool science books at the Science Bar, and throughout the summer, learn what our educators are reading for fun — they’ll even have related, kid-friendly suggestions for our guests to read!
