The Inside-Out International Conference is back after a two-year break convening the world’s largest gathering of leaders working to connect kids to nature.   

Did you know that kids today spend as much as 90% of their time indoors (and on screens!)? It’s no wonder the U.S. Surgeon General recently declared a youth mental health crisis. Remember when you were a kid and you lived most of your free time outside? One powerful movement--promoting equitable access to nature--is coming to Atlanta to advocate for bringing it back. And Dr. Jane Goodall; Yolanda Renee King, the granddaughter of Martin Luther King, Jr.; and Children & Nature Network co-founder Richard Louv are among its speakers.

From Monday, May 9 to Thursday, May 12, Atlanta will host the Inside-Out International Conference, which is the world’s largest gathering of leaders working to connect children to the benefits of nature. The conference concludes with the Bring it Outdoors! Family Festival with Hike it Baby at Rodney Cook Park and it is free and open to the public.
