Join historian and author Karcheik Sims-Alvarado, Ph.D. for a guided talk and tour of her photography exhibition “Atlanta and the Civil Rights Movement, 1944-1968,” currently on display at Woodruff Park and Freedom Park, sponsored by the National Black Arts (formerly the National Black Arts Festival).
Following the exhibit talk, guests are invited to then take Woodruff Park's "Atlanta from the Ashes" Downtown history tour. RSVP here.
