Dr. Ibram X. Kendi, Director of the Boston University Center for Antiracist Research and New York Times bestselling author of How To Be An Antiracist, will join Emory University Center for Ethics to present a webinar on Wednesday September 16th, 2020 from 4 to 5 pm.
Dr. Kendi addresses our individual responsibility to create a more just and equitable society through the transformative concept of Antiracism.
Our moderator will be Dr. Carol Anderson, the Charles Howard Candler Professor of African American Studies at Emory University and author of White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Nation's Divide.
We hope you will continue to partner with us as we engage the Emory and Atlanta communities and beyond in collaborative programming on the topics of social justice and leading a moral and meaningful life.
Dr. Kendi’s webinar is the inaugural James W. Fowler Ethics event, honoring Dr. James “Jim” Fowler, the first full-time director of the Center for Ethics, whose life and work exemplified moral courage.
