A Month-long Black History Month Art Exhibit highlighting black female beauty
Beauty. Sultry. Energetic. Vibrant. Powerful. All words to describe the black women photographed by acclaimed Spencer Charles. Cognac Colored Lullabies tells the story of the sweet beauty in being black. This month, Social House will be showcasing Spencer’s amazing work that he will be debuting in his upcoming coffee table book: “Blacker Than God.”

About Spencer Charles:
Spencer Charles is a multi-disciplined artist (photographer, perfumer, curator, content creator) based in Atlanta, GA, originally from Newark NJ. His work focuses on fine art and lifestyle photography as well as capturing fashion and urban culture. Spencer Charles’ work draws inspiration from jazz, hip-hop culture, and 70’s R&B album covers. He has two photography coffee table books and has worked with numerous artist and brands around the country. His work has also been displayed in various publications and galleries around the world.
