Details

Families are welcomed to join the Museum for a Mardi Gras parade. Before the parades, kids will learn how fireworks are made, make their own parade floats or design masks for the festivities.
CMA On Stage
“Dinosaur Mardi Gras” by Dianne de Las Casas + Parade + “Mardi Gras in New Orleans” by Madson Webb
10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m. 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Science Bar
Guests are invited to uncover the mystery of fireworks and learn how they get their vibrant and exciting colors.
Jane’s Innovation Station
Miniature architects are welcomed to create a Mardi Gras shoebox float to be included in the Museum’s annual Mardi Gras parade.
Art Studio
Little revelers are invited to create their own Mardi Gras masks to wear to the parade.
