Ring in the ho-ho-holiday season at Colony Square a little early this year with a special Christmas in July-themed Groovin’ On The Square event. This Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m., the open-air Plaza will transform into a sea of red and green as Midtown’s favorite weekly live music series gets a festive twist.
Throughout the evening, revelers are invited to unwind with tunes from local band 7 Sharp 9 and enjoy holiday-inspired cocktails from Bar Politan, frozen hot chocolate popsicles from King of Pops and spirited entertainment, including a “drunk” Santa, holiday flamingo on stilts, candy cane hula hoopers and a strolling gift box. Seating in the Plaza is first come first serve and attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs for lounging. Guests are also invited to purchase delectable sips and snacks from any of Colony Square’s restaurants to enjoy throughout the event.
