Join the American Society for Microbiology for “Agar Art on Display”, an art showcase featuring works from our world-famous Agar Art Contest. This viral sci-art phenomenon, which has been featured in National Geographic, Huffington Post, on the TODAY show and CNN, has been showcasing the beauty and versatility of microbes for years. Since 2015, more than 1700 artists spanning the globe have used living microorganisms as their medium of expression to create nearly 1500 works of art.
