2020 Vision: A Multi-Media Retrospective of Atlanta's Collective Resistance
Date and Time for this Past Event
- Thu, Jan 28, 2021 - Sun, Jan 31, 2021
Details
The Bakery returns in 2021 with a retrospective of open call & curated works inspired by protest movements from this past year. The show will highlight our collective documentation and expression of global events. Identity, resistance, and reflection have all been front and center in our shared struggles. The cumulation of our experiences become stories, and we are asking our community to share your stories with us in a public show that will take place in January 2021 in South Downtown.
The exhibition dates are January 28th - 31st, 2021, and is open to the public via these donation-based ticket reservations. There will be open gallery hours preceding the exhibition so the public can collaborate on mixed media projects that will be featured in the show alongside selected works.
Tickets for the open studio, as well as the exhibition, will be timed (no more than 5 guests in the space at a time) and all donations will benefit the upcoming Studio Residency Program, ensuring we are able to extend this initiative to all artists, not just those who can afford it.
Venue: 92 Peachtree St SW
