From November 1 through December 15, order your fresh and fragrant Fraser fir wreaths from Historic Oakland Foundation’s annual wreath sale and decorate your home or your family plot.
The handcrafted wreaths are sourced from a North Carolina farm and come complete with a lovely red velvet ribbon. Embellish your wreath with a bundle of freshly picked mixed greenery harvested from Oakland’s gardens, magnolia stems, and more, also available for order. Preorder your wreath and Oakland Cemetery-sourced greenery online for best selection.
Wreath pickup
Order your wreath online and pick it up at Oakland during the Victorian Holiday Green Market on December 5 (11-4) and December 6 (12-4). You’ll get a free bundle of greenery when you do. We’ll also have wreaths for sale at the Green Market. See below for more information.
Can’t make it to Victorian Holiday? You may also schedule a pick-up date at least two business days after your order placement, any day, November 24 – December 17. Orders will be placed on the porch of the Visitors Center and should be picked up between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on the date you scheduled. Please note: Wreaths and greenery will decline inside their packaging, so please pick up your orders on time and remove your items from their bags as soon as possible.
Wreath Placement at Oakland
Purchasing a wreath is a wonderful way to honor family and friends at rest here at Oakland while supporting Oakland’s mission. We will be glad to place the wreath for you at no additional charge. When you order, please provide a detailed description for your order’s placement including location, the full name of the deceased and the date of death.
NOTE: For reference, two 12-inch wreaths fit a mausoleum’s double doors.
