The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Runners for Research participates in races around the country to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. The team will hold its signature 5K Run/Walk in Atlanta, home of the 2019 AACR Annual Meeting. The starting and finish lines are located at the iconic Centennial Olympic Park. Register by March 15 and you'll receive a 5K shirt and goodie bag. Compete for a medal but run to help raise funds for lifesaving cancer research. The AACR is the oldest and largest cancer research organization in the world with 40,000 members in 120 countries whose mission is to prevent and cure all cancers.
