This public film screening and dialogue will examine incarceration in America and the role of artistic expression as a cathartic rehabilitation tool. After the screening of the film, participants will hear from documentary Resonant Pictures Director Sam Bathrick and Grammy-winning artist-activist Todd “Speech” Thomas as they discuss the film, how they envision art as a form of rehabilitation, and how communities can support formerly incarcerated citizens as they return to ordinary life.
