February 04, 2025

The CAP/ADID Annual Meeting & Awards Celebration is an opportunity to celebrate the people who make Downtown Atlanta the "one and only." Each year, we honor award recipients, both internal and external.

We sat down with this year's ADID Award Winners to learn more about their love for Downtown.

What's your favorite spot Downtown?
There are multiple spots that are my favorite... I love eating at some of the Downtown local restaurants, Pemberton Place in the wintertime, the lights, the people, it's just a joyful time for me. And Centennial Olympic Park in the summertime. The concerts and the downtown attractions seem to just light up with visitors.
Do you have a favorite Downtown memory?
For me it was the very first time I met John Lewis. He was so approachable and kind too. He stood outside of Woodruff Park and answered all the questions we had for him, took pictures with us all while conducting his business with his colleagues before returning to his busy schedule.

The FIFA World Cup. Once again Atlanta Downtown will be at the center stage and ADID & CAP will be a part of history again.
