Winter volunteers needed in the middle of summer
August 25,2015
An Atlanta holiday tradition enjoyed by both locals and visitors to the city, Holiday in Lights takes place from November to January in conjunction with downtown Atlanta's only outdoor ice skating rink. Volunteers are needed to place strands of lights on shrubbery throughout the Park to create an enormous display known as Holiday in Lights. Individual volunteers are welcome or you can share the experience by volunteering as a group of co-workers, friends, family members, civic organization, or church.
The following dates are open in September: 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 and October: 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, and 23. Two corporations have registered for October 16th and 23rd from 9:00am-12:00pm. Typically, we host one corporate group per date but are flexible. We provide all the necessary supplies/equipment needed for the project including gloves and bottled water for all the volunteers.
