W Atlanta Downtown Hotel Makes Top 10 List of Luxury Hotels with Helipads

This is the fourth W in Atlanta but built from the ground up and opened in 2009 it has more of the signature W style. This includes its own helipad for use by the owners of the 74 private residences housed in the building along with the 230-plus guest rooms. There is also talk of introducing a 'W' branded helicopter. We always knew "W" stood for "whirlybird'. We love the names W Atlanta Downtown has given its rooms; who wouldn't want to book into the 'Mega Room', the 'Fabulous Room', the 'Cool Corner Room' or the 'WOW Suite'? W Dallas also has a helipad.
