Rep. Lewis: DOT Will Fund Atlanta Streetcar Project

US Representative John Lewis announced today, that the US Department of Transportation (DOT), represented by DOT Secretary Ray LaHood, has agreed to grant $47 million in funding for the proposed Downtown streetcar project.

Official word from the  U.S. Department of Transportation is expected Wednesday.
