McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant Re-opens at CNN Center

McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant announces the re‐opening of its CNN Center location after completing a full renovation of the space. The restaurant now boasts a new, open floorplan and an updated menu featuring the freshest seafood dining, as well as newly added local and regional specialties at one of Atlanta’s top interactive entertainment venues.

“We look forward to welcoming our guests into the new space with its modern, contemporary décor,” said Steve Grist, general manager of McCormick & Schmick’s at the CNN Center. “After more than 10 years in Downtown Atlanta, we were ready to knock down some walls to create a restaurant that is as distinctive and unique as its CNN Center location.”

The restaurant features a new color palette of grays and steel blues set in contrast to mahogany woodwork and warmer lighting. The upgraded bar area features a new granite bartop and wine wall. The newly renovated restaurant now offers more event and entertainment space, with a 90‐person banquet room featuring a stone wall and fireplace, a board room with state‐of‐the‐art audio visual capabilities, and a Chef’s Table for special dining occasions.

McCormick & Schmick’s newly updated menu includes the restaurant’s signature “Fresh List” highlighting an impressive number of fresh seafood varieties and a number of new twists on many favorites. The menu will also highlight a variety of local and regional ingredients and preparations and seasonally inspired dishes.

“McCormick & Schmick’s is a chef‐driven company that encourages each location to create a distinctive menu built around regional foods that are fresh and seasonal,” said Chef Lincoln Sveda, executive chef of McCormick & Schmick’s at the CNN Center. “In addition to offering regional and local seafood and produce, we have created dishes such as Coca‐Cola braised short ribs.”

The locally‐sourced offerings which change seasonally‐inspired dishes with provisions from local and regional farms including North Georgia Rainbow Trout from Enchanted Springs and apples from Mercer Orchards in Blue Ridge, Georgia.

The Downtown Atlanta McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant is located at 190 Marietta Street, One CNN Center, and Atlanta, Georgia. Operating hours are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
