Georgia State University has picked the site for two new mid-rise buildings to house its growing law and business schools.
Georgia State recently purchased about 2.4 acres at John Wesley Dobbs and Park Place, on the north side of Robert W. Woodruff Park. GSU paid $17.8 million for the site, or roughly $7.2 million an acre (or about $169 per land square foot), according to the university and Databank Inc., which tracks metro Atlanta real estate transactions.
