GSU Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility Hosts "Trust Barometer" Event
February 11,2013
CAP Members are invited to attend an exclusive event hosted by the Georgia State University Center for Ethics and Corporate Responsibility and Edelman. The occasion is a presentation of the 2013 Edelman Trust Barometer, the firm's annual survey of the global state of trust and leadership, which was unveiled recently in Davos, Switzerland.
The event will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at 7:30 a.m. at the Capital City Club, located at Peachtree Street and John Portman Boulevard (formerly Harris Street) in downtown Atlanta. We invite you to join us as our guest for breakfast and a fascinating inside look at the Trust Barometer.
According to Richard Edelman, the Trust Barometer shows that a crisis of confidence is affecting business and government leaders worldwide. "Less than one fifth of the general public believes business leaders and government officials will tell the truth when confronted with a difficult issue," says Mr. Edelman.
Edelman Vice Chariman, Alan VanderMolen, will join us in Atlanta to present these important findings, and along with a distinguished panel of experts including CAP Members, Helene Gayle, CEO of CARE USA, and Bert Roughton, Managing Editor of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The 2013 Edelman Trust Barometer is the firm's 13th annual trust and credibility survey. It was produced by research firm Edelman Berland and consisted of online interviews conducted between October 16th and November 29th of last year. The survey sampled 26,000 general population respondents with an oversample of 5,800 informed publics across 26 countries.
Seating for this event is limited. Please confirm your attendance by registering here by February 22. For more information, call 404-413-7420.
