Georgia Considers New State History Museum in Downtown Atlanta

State of Georgia officials are considering the idea of a adding a new tourist attraction to Downtown Atlanta in the form of a state history museum.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Gov. Nathan Deal recently toured the old World of Coca-Cola building at the edge of Underground Atlanta.
The governor's spokesman, Brian Robinson, said the governor believes it would an ideal location for a history museum if it could done for the right price and a "significant amount" of private money could be obtained for the effort.
Officials emphasized that the plans are in the early stages, and several options are being considered.
