Downtown TMA Wins Blinkie Award

This year the Atlanta Bicycle Campaign (ABC) gave out its first-ever Blinkie Awards. These awards are given to the exemplars of volunteerism, business, media, and government to recognize their role in making Atlanta bike-friendly.  On Saturday January 31, the Downtown TMA was recognized as ABC's 2008 Partner of the Year.  Joint efforts between ABC and the Downtown TMA, including Bike Fest, Bike to Work Day and bicycle counts volunteerism, and scholarships for Downtown Confident City Cycling class participants, put the TMA 'over the top.'
