Chubb joins Oxford Industries board

Oxford Industries Inc. added company President Thomas C. Chubb III to its board of directors.

Chubb is a more than 20-year veteran of the Atlanta-based clothing company, having joined it as an intern in 1988.

“He has been instrumental in the development and execution of Oxford’s strategic objectives and is an outstanding leader to our organization,” said J. Hicks Lanier, chairman and CEO of Oxford, in a statement. “Tom was heavily involved in the acquisitions of Tommy Bahama, Ben Sherman and most recently, Lilly Pulitzer, as well as two key divestitures -- all transactions which were critical to the transformation of Oxford.”
