CAP Saddened by loss of Piedmont CEO R. Timothy Stack

CAP is saddened over the loss of Piedmont Healthcare CEO R. Timothy Stack, who died Monday July 30.

Stack, 60, captained the five-hospital health system for more than a decade.

Piedmont’s President of Finance and Development Greg Hurst — the health system’s second highest executive — will continue to handle the duties of CEO, as he has since Stack went on medical leave in early June.

Piedmont Healthcare is a new 2012 Member and represented in Membership by Matt Gove.
