Atlanta Street Vending Program to Expand

The City of Atlanta Street Vending Program is an exciting partnership between General Growth Properties, Inc. and the City of Atlanta that has completely revamped the look and feel of sidewalk retail in downtown Atlanta. The program kicked off in the fall of 2009, with the opening of 20 kiosk units in and around the Woodruff Park area, World of Coke and the Georgia Aquarium. Phase II of the program will open this year, with locations in some of the most visible and highly-trafficked areas in the Atlanta metro. Vendors that are currently operating in downtown offer a wide variety of products and services, including Atlanta souvenirs, women's accessories and convenience items. The program also boasts some of the best "grab and go" eateries around.
