Sponsored by Smooth Jazz 101.1, Live from Woodruff Park returns to Downtown’s central greenspace this May, where a weekly series of Wednesday night concerts will be held on the lawn in partnership with Atlanta Jazz Festival's 31 Days of Jazz program.
This week’s concert, hosted by Smooth Jazz personality Rene Miller and Tom Key, Artistic Director of Theatrical Outfit, features the Churchill Grounds Quartet and Danny Wytanis. At 5:30, attendees can enjoy a special performance by cast members of Five Guys Named Moe, opening at Theatrical Outfit on May 29.
This concert is made possible with support from Georgia's Own Credit Union. Thanks to Georgia's Own's "85 Acts of Kindness" program, attendees will be eligible to receive 1 of 85 food truck vouchers that will be distributed at the remaining Live from Woodruff Park concerts. Enjoy a free meal thanks to our generous sponsor!
The food truck vouchers commemorate Georgia’s Own Credit Union’s 85th anniversary and the organization’s year-long “85 Acts of Kindness” campaign designed to serve the public good in unique and unexpected ways. Live from Woodruff Park is free and open to the community, with food and beverages available for purchase, in addition to the many nearby dining options that surround the park. The event series is family-friendly and open to all ages. Picnic baskets, blankets, and chairs are welcome. Opener bands begin at 5:40 p.m.; headliner bands begin at 7:00 p.m.
