Cash for Commuters


Participation Guidelines

If accepted into the Cash for Commuters program, you can receive $3 per day (up to $100) for each day you use an alternative commute mode within an assigned 90-day period.

If you have not received an email, letter, or phone call from a Clean Air Campaign within three weeks of submitting an application, it is your responsibility to contact the Clean Air Campaign. Do not attempt contact before three weeks, as receipt of applications before this time period can not be confirmed.

Rules of Eligibility

The Cash for Commuters program is a one-time incentive program. You must currently be driving alone to work in order to qualify for this program. Driving alone is defined as operating a motor vehicle to travel to work with no other adult passengers occupying the vehicle.

You must submit your completed application before beginning your use of an alternative commute mode.
You must NOT have used an alternative commute mode to travel to work including carpool, transit, vanpool, walk, bicycle, or telework more than 3 days in the 30 days prior to your submission of the Cash for Commuters application.
Commuters in vanpools and/or students commuting to school are not eligible.
You must commute to work on one or more weekdays (i.e. Monday through Friday) to qualify. Commutes to work on the weekend qualify as long as you work on weekends as part of a regular shift that includes at least one weekday.

EVENTS

Dow Live Earth Run for Water The Dow Live Earth Run for Water consists of a series of 6 km run/walks (the average distance many women and children walk every day to secure water) taking place over the course of 24 hours in countries around the world.

Downtown Weekly Walking Tour Get some fresh air and stretch your legs while learning more about Downtown by foot. Complimentary guided tour departs Residence Inn every Tuesday at 5:30 and local places of interest are pointed out along the way.

Heels on Wheels Glide down Peachtree Steet for a night on the town without driving or parking. Wear your finest outfit to show just how easy it can be to ride a bike in Atlanta.
