Marcel Breuer: Design and Architecture -- An exhibition of the Vitra Design Museum, Weil am Rhein, Germany
As a designer and architect, Marcel Breuer (1902—1981) is one of the most influential and important designers of the 20th century. By virtue of his innovative furniture alone, Breuer could be ranked among the most influential designers of the modernist period. This presentation of Breuer’s prolific and varied career offers a balanced exploration of his furniture, interiors, and buildings, revealing that he was a powerful force in the architectural theory and practice of his era
The Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA), is an affiliate of the Smithsonian and focuses on Design, Culture, and
Technology. Galleries are located on the Lobby Level, and the Museum Store is located upstairs.

Fall Fantasy – Dunwoody Fine Art Association Members Show
Exhibition Dates: November 1 - November 30, 2009
Thursday, November 5, Opening Reception & Meet the Artists 6-8 p.m.
The exhibition features expressions of the season and other works in various media by local Georgia artists. The Dunwoody Fine Art Association is over 25 years old and is open to anyone interested in the practice of art and enjoys associating with other artists.

Surfaces is an exhibition that uses images to highlight the surfaces of people and places who become communities in conjuction with Atlanta Celebrates Photography. This event closes the extensive celebration of Dia de Muertos. Join the community for a free event and learn more about the traditional celebration of Dia de Muertos, decorate figures, and enjoy exhibition of folk art and tasting traditional Day of the Dead food.
