I-75/85 Underpass Enhancement - Community Survey

Central Atlanta Progress and the Atlanta Downtown Improvement District have received a grant from the Georgia Department of Transportation - Transportation Enhancement program to implement pedestrian improvements along Auburn Avenue in Downtown, Atlanta.  The project seeks to accomplish two major goals

  1. Enhance the pedestrian experience along Auburn Avenue under the I-75/85 bridge
  2. Repair, expand and enhance the historic and cultural wayside signs along the street

Design and research work is underway to develop plans for these improvements to happen in 2014.  To assist with the I-75/85 underpass design process, the consultant team led by AMEC is seeking community input regarding the proposed improvements.
